All I need now is the cart...

So I ordered a doggie backpack for Brutus. i wanted to give him a "job" to focus on while we were on our walks. When i got home last night my backpack was there! I was so excited! I raced out of the car totally forgetting the groceries, that's what Greg is for :) hee hee. Anyways I go inside and tear into it, it's perfect and I love it, now to see if Brutus does. I change from my work clothes so Dora doesn't ruin them (she can be a brat sometimes) and I go out side to put it on him. Once I got him over to me he sat right down and let me put in on with no problems. I put is on and let him run arounf with it with no weight in it just so he could get used to it. He loved it! Acted like it was no big deal! So i went inside and grabbed 4 water bottles to put in there. I put two on each side and let him go and he was so seriuos about it. It was kinda cute. He attitude was like "Ok, I have a job to do I can't run around." And he didn't.He was really calm and cool So then I thought I would press my luck and try it on Dora. I put in on her without any weight just to gauge her reaction. She was the same way she didn't run around anymore she calmed right down and Stayed with me it was so cool. Then I put one water bottle on each side for her and she was still pretty cool about it. Although every now and then she would turn her head and try to chew on it which I promptly stopped. Other than that she did great! I am so excited to take them for walks now! I think he will really enjoy them more! Not to mention he can carry the water so when I start wheezing I can take a swig! Maybe I will start looking into a cart for brutus to pull! now wouldn't that be a sight! Ha! I figured since I don't have a horse anymore and he is almost as big as one why not bridge the gap?
